Challenge Foundation Goulburn Inc - Supporting people since the 1950’s

The Challenge Foundation is fully committed to supporting both clients and families.

Our dedicated and professional staff work tirelessly to provide support to the Goulburn and surrounding district. We are continuously growing, both in staffing and a Facility upgrade to cater for a larger number and age bracket of clients.

The Challenge Foundation provides Supported Travel for children both in and around the local area, including Yass, Crookwell & Marulan. This service is comprised of a fleet of buses, with Bus Drivers & Travel Support Officers on each allocated bus run.

 

TRAINING/DEVELOPMENT

Challenge Foundation provides ongoing training for all of our employees, and our Management Team are on hand at all times to oversee all aspects of our Service’s operation.

All staff are encouraged to pursue further skills and knowledge to advance their career path.

We offer a wide range of training opportunities and courses, as well as regular sessions to ensure that our staff are competent within their job description.

Challenge Foundation is committed to providing our staff, Management and Board with the latest in training to make available a service that is providing the best possible care in a safe and homely environment.

 

MANAGEMENT

Our Management team and Board of Directors pride themselves on the recruitment of highly trained, widely educated staff. It is with hard work and continuing support that we have been able to provide a successful service to clients for over 50 years.

 

OPPORTUNITIES

Clients are also encouraged to participate in the development of their interests and hobbies. Many attend a working programme as well as recreational outings. Our clients are given every opportunity to lead a happy, fulfilling lifestyle, in a fully equipped, safe and welcoming environment.

 

COMMUNICATION

Communication is a key factor within our organisation, therefore all clients and families are well informed at all times. Our Board of Directors attend a formal monthly meeting, as do all staff. These meetings enable Challenge Foundation Management and staff to be updated and supplied with all necessary information, enabling the best possible care for our clients.
